The Park has been under new management since 2019, with Chris Novis being the new owner. Chris was born and raised here in New Zealand, spending most of his life living and working in a rural/coastal area of the Coromandal Peninsula. With such a beautiful environment to live, work and play in it is no wonder that Chris is a true Naturist himself. Chris has a passion for native trees and plants which have been planted around the Park. These native plants will enhance the attractiveness of the Park as well as encourage more bird life, including the Tui's and Kereru. The access to the river from the Glade has been opened up making the river easier to find. Click here for details

Rotota is situated on the sunny shores of Lake Ohakuri, across the water from Orakei Korako but on the same side as the “hidden valley”. The club offers a refreshing back-to-basics environment for natural recreation in the centre of New Zealand’s North Island. With no mains power, the geographical isolation is part of the attraction for many of its members. They rely on solar power for lighting, wood for heating in the winter and gas for refrigeration and cooking. There are also camp sites, caravans and cabins for hire by non member guests. Whether it’s socialising, swimming, boating, soaking in natural hot-spring water, hot geothermal streams or simply relaxing in the sun, Rotota will have something for you. Click here for details
